Description

The creator of creation, the protector of the universe, Shri Krishna, is the book of Yugandhara’s Lila Charitra or Krishna Katha. This is an adaptation of the book ‘Harivijay’ written by poet Sridhar. The translation of 36 chapters in simple language is difficult task. But Aparna madam has easily achieved it. The raslila of the gopis in the eighth chapter is not complete submissiveness, affection for the external form, but the unity of the relationship between Radhakrishna and Gopikrishna. सृष्टीचा निर्माता, ब्रह्मांडाचा रक्षण कर्ता श्रीकृष्ण त्या युगंधराचे लीला चरित्र म्हणजे कृष्णकथा हे पुस्तक आहे. कवी श्रीधर रचित ‘हरिविजय’ या ग्रंथाचा हा भावानुवाद आहे. ३६ अध्यायांचा अनुवाद सोप्या भाषेत वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचविणे हे तसे जिकीरीचं काम होय. पण अपर्णाताईंनी ते सहज साध्य केले आहे. आठव्या अध्यायातील गोपींच्या रासलीला म्हणजे पूर्ण लीनत्व, बाह्य स्वरूपाला भाळणं नव्हे, तर राधाकृष्ण, गोपीकृष्ण यांच्या नात्यातील एकरुपता होय. हेच या पुस्तकात सांगितले आहे. मुखपृष्ठावरील अतिशय मनोहारी चित्र हे या पुस्तकाचे वैशिष्ट्य आहे.
