Shrimat Dasbodh (samarth vaagavijayanti)

Description

Samartha Ramdasa who was a great devotee of Lord Rama narrated his views to his disciple Kalyan Swami which came to be known as Dasbodh or the knowledge imparted by the servant of Lord Rama. This work which is originally divided into 20 chapters was hand written by Kalyan Swami while he listened to the most worthy words of Samartha at Shivthar Ghal near Sajjangad.

The central goal of this work is moksha or the ultimate liberation. Samartha has supported it with many incidences with a spiritualistic base. These all are superb guidelines for the commonest people. Samartha has also elaborated the symptoms of foolishness and the virtuous good qualities in a very interesting manner.

समर्थ रामदास हे रामाचे महान भक्त. त्यांनी आपला शिष्य कल्याण स्वामी याला निवेदन केलेला ग्रंथ मह्णजे दासबोध. या ग्रंथात २० प्रकरणे आहेत. शिवथरघळ हे सज्जनगडाजवळचे ठिकाण. येथे समर्थांची शिष्याला हा बोध दिला आणि कल्याणस्वामींची स्वहस्ते तो टिपून घेतला. मोक्ष ही या पुस्तकाची सारगर्भ कल्पना आहे. अध्यात्माच्या पायासह बरेच प्रसंग सांगून समर्थांनी या कल्पनेच्या पाठपुरावा केला आहे. सामान्य लोकांनाही यात उत्कृष्ट मार्ग दर्शन केले आहे. समर्थांनी मूर्खांनी तसेच सज्जनांचीही लक्षणे फार रंजक पद्तधीने मांडली आहेत.
