The original Dnyaneshwari as written by Dnyaneshwar is rather difficult to understand for the lay man. Yet, it explains the philosophy of life in detail. In this book, the author has explained it with the help of lots of small anecdotes. The language is lucid and impresses the reader beyond words. At the same time, it does not go beyond anything that is not mentioned in the original scripture. This book can be considered as a step prior to peeping into the original writing.

ज्ञानेश्वर माऊलींनी लिहिलेली मुळ ज्ञानेश्वरी सर्व साधारण माणसाला समजायला अवघड आहे. तरीही त्यामध्ये जीवनाविषयीचे तत्वज्ञान विस्तृतपणे आलेले आहे. सदर पुस्तकात लेखकाने ते सर्व अगदी छोट्या-छोट्या उदाहरणातून समजावून दिले आहे, भाषा अतिशय सोपी आणि सुबोध असल्याने वाचकावर त्याचा खूपच प्रभाव पडतो. शिवाय मूळ ज्ञानेश्वरीचे या पुस्तकाने अजिबात उल्लंघन केलेले नाही. मूळ ज्ञानेश्‍वरीत डोकावण्यापूर्वी हे पुस्तक वाचकाने वाचावे, त्याला त्याची खूपच मदत होईल.
